CBS has commissioned a full series for 'Elementary'.
American TV network CBS has ordered an entire series of Elementary, the latest modern-day take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s great detective.
Bosses were apparently impressed by a pilot episode starring Jonny Lee Miller as Sherlock Holmes and Lucy Liu as his female sidekick Joan Watson.
According to reports, Miller’s Sherlock is a recovering addict fresh out of rehab who works as a consultant for the New York Police Department. Liu’s Watson is thought to be a former surgeon, struck off following the death of a patient during her own time spent working for the NYPD.
